My name is Emmanuel Denizot, and for 25 years,
I have helped other people's stories travel.
Subtitling films, series and late-night shows,
interpreting at film festivals like Cannes,
and teaching cultural translation in London and Paris.
Most of that work happens between the captions.
Tone, rhythm, the small shifts that decide
whether something lands or misses.
Before PARTANT, I ran Jules+Jim, ciné-soirées
with directors, artists, critics in the room.

Subtitler of nearly a hundred films for French theatrical release. Credits include Ruben Östlund's The Square (Palme d'Or, Cannes 2017) and Thomas Vinterberg's Another Round (Oscar, César and BAFTA for Best International Film, 2021), Andrea Arnold's Bird and Andrew Haigh's 45 Years, among others. Credits also include Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing and Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
